Over the years, Lenny Kravitz has lived a simple life in the Caribbean — and last weekend, Kravitz gave Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Joe Alwyn a taste of it.
The longtime couple were spotted in the Bahamas on the island of Eleuthera, canoodling in the ocean on Sunday, and Kravitz’s silver Airstream trailer was seen lying aft.
“My trailer is on the beach in the Bahamas. It’s a little Airstream trailer, and it’s just this comfortable safe womb. There’s not a lot of room, but you really feel free in there because you know what your limits are,” Kravitz said in a 2013 interview on “The Oprah Masterclass.”
“It really feels good to be confined in a small space like this. My life has always been about contrast. But in the end, the easiest way wins out.
In the fall of 2020, Kravitz took a mini trailer tour at men’s healthwhere he described his healthy lifestyle.
During the interview, he revealed how he had his own garden on the island, where he grew his own food – likely something that Swift, 32, and Alwyn, 31, took advantage of.
The trailer includes the main driving nook, mini kitchen with white cabinets, sink, oven and good sized refrigerator. Across from the cooking station is a four-person dining area with a flat-screen TV mounted against the wall. The bathroom is located just behind the dining room. At the back is the bedroom with a double bed. The room can also be used as a sitting area and has a wall of windows for optimal sunlight.
Currently, a average cost of an Airstream the trailer costs between $36,900 and $149,900. And they are said to last up to 90 years.
Kravitz’s particular trailer is made of a treated aluminum alloy, which is lighter for easier transport, more fuel efficient and helps fight the elements.

The two, who have been dating since 2016, intentionally kept their relationship hidden from the public.
The rumors that they were secretly engaged have not been confirmed, and Alwyn revealed earlier this year that he plans to keep it that way.
“If I had a pound every time I think I was told I was engaged, I would have a lot of pound coins,” he told the the wall street journal in April.
“I mean, the truth is if the answer was yes, I wouldn’t say, and if the answer was no, I wouldn’t say.”
