Founder of Turning Point USA Charlie Kirk think America is challenged horizontally.
The 28-year-old said in a recent speech that he believes that to prevent liberalism from rotting the brains of voters across the country, high-rise buildings must be wiped from the landscape.
In a video gaining momentum on Twitter, he attempted to enlist people to go to war with him against tall residential structures.
Charlie Kirk argues that tall buildings make people liberal: “The taller the building, the more liberal the voter. It’s just. The closer to the ground you are, the more conservative you are. pic.twitter.com/ar5TlJYgWh

“We have a huge housing crisis in our country, the likes of which we haven’t seen in a long time,” Church said to an audience. “But I believe we have to build horizontally, not vertically. This is one of my speeches. Developers don’t like me saying that, but it’s true. The taller the building, the more liberal the voter.
“The closer to the ground you are, the more conservative you are,” he argued. “We should be encouraging people to spread horizontally, not vertically.”
Kirk then launched an unprovoked attack on the city of Denver, which he failed to mention is dwarfed by the nearby Rocky Mountains – where the Coloradans tend be more conservative that no.
“Look at Denver, the taller the skyscrapers, has Denver become less free, or more free?” He asked, before replying, “It’s become a dystopian nightmare, you know that.”
Kirk then asked his audience to really think about what he was trying to explain:
Think about it, if you’re on the 32nd floor, renting not owning, if you’re not in the weeds and yard, and you understand what it takes to grow food and nurture the land, are you going to be more or less likely to actually be a curator? The taller the building, as every study shows, the more liberal it becomes over time. It happened in Phoenix, it happened in Denver, it happened in Atlanta, it happened in Dallas, it happened in Chicago. Everywhere, and yet few people say it out loud.
Judging by his cadence, Kirk sounded very serious. It is a tragedy, because the pain relief launcher and the charlatan was once a rising young star in the conservative movement.
For what it’s worth, I’ve been on top of many tall buildings. None of them ever forced me to register as a Democrat.
Meanwhile, many of my liberal friends remain liberal from their one-story houses. The seeding of their lawns never showed them the error of their ways.
It’s time for investors and developers to pull out the cranes to save the world from Kirk’s conservatism.
