Despite the publication TikTok Videos flaunting a lavish lifestyle – including clips of her walking to a private jet in Gucci pants and cruising behind the wheel of a Rolls-Royce with a Louis Vuitton bag slung across her lap – the reality of the life of the Self-proclaimed con artist Danielle Miller looks anything but glamorous these days.
Miller, a 32-year-old Manhattan native, is now charged with three counts of wire fraud and two counts of aggravated impersonation – and is the subject of a recent New York Magazine Profile which details his alleged financial misdeeds – spends his days under house arrest, awaiting trial.
And the charges against her, to which she pleaded not guilty, could land her behind bars for decades.
Now, in a bizarre twist, a room has apparently opened up in the downtown Manhattan triplex where she bides her time wearing a tracking monitor around her ankle.
“No credit or background checks required,” reads the now-deleted Facebook post that advertises the $1,200 per month rental in Greenwich Village. (The New York Magazine story, meanwhile, says the apartment is in Soho – and that’s where Miller looks like it was photographed in a white pantsuit, lying on the living room sofa while vaping.)
In the article, Julia Cornell, Miller’s departing roommate, who is looking for a replacement and did not respond to a Post message seeking comment, details a weed-friendly, people-of-color and people-friendly living atmosphere. homosexuals.
Cornell then describes the other housemates, including Miller and Brett Joseph, 36.
“Both roommates live in the basement but have full access to the living room/kitchen,” writes Cornell, whose profile says she’s an actress. “Brett works as a promoter and sleeps until 5 p.m., but tends to have guests until 3 or 4 a.m. . . Danielle is currently under house arrest for identity theft and financial fraud. She stays alone downstairs.
Miller, who also did not respond to a message from The Post seeking comment, is the former student of Horace Mann who became known as “Swiffer Girl” in 2004. A boy had dared the eighth grader online to prove she was no “prude”, prompting Miller to record and send her three sexually explicit videos featuring the house sweeper.
The clips, which went viral among the private school communities and ended up on file-sharing services LimeWire and Kazaa, became known as the world’s first-ever revenge porn scandal – and left Miller traumatized in the process.
“It’s not my parents’ fault, but I haven’t seen a psychiatrist,” Miller said in New York. “What? Why didn’t I see a psychiatrist? Come on. I’m a 13, 14 year old girl. Force me to go see a psychiatrist. I was f––king 13 . . . I think I I haven’t even had my period yet.
Her years-long efforts to forge a new identity got out of control, and she had several arrests and even made a stint at Rikers where she met Soho con artist Anna Delvey.
According to New York Magazine’s profile, over the years, allegations against the former Pepperdine University law student have included using a Los Angeles woman’s stolen identity to take over her AT&T account. in 2020. Miller and a friend then allegedly rented a Jaguar. and went to a Sarasota, Florida bank in Chase to try to withdraw $8,000 from that same woman’s account. (Both were reportedly arraigned and pleaded not guilty.)
That same year, authorities say, Miller applied for at least 10 loans from the Small Business Association, which included pandemic-related economic disaster loans, using stolen identities. Several loans were declined and flagged as potentially fraudulent, but in July 2020 the government deposited approximately $125,000 into an account that Miller allegedly operated in someone else’s name.
Over the next eight months, authorities said, Miller received four more loans totaling nearly $1 million. During this period, she taken to instagram, where she has some 30,000 subscribers, showing Chanel, Gucci and Prada looks – and videos of her driving a Rolls-Royce convertible. (Her most recent postof Jan. 3, the watch in a short black dress — the black ankle monitor prominently displayed — in what appears to be the kitchen of this downtown triplex.) According to the article, she claims she is funding his lifestyle with his own money.
The triplex is believed to be owned by a friend, and it’s where Miller spends most of her days watching people pass by a downstairs window — an act she says feels like watching the television.
The Facebook listing was filled with images of the space, one of which showed a small white staircase leading to a mezzanine area that appears to house bedrooms. Below is the orange-toned living space where Miller was photographed.
However, Facebook commenters seemed to devote more attention to having Miller as a potential roommate than to the features of the unit.
“Wait for THE miller Danielle???” wrote one. “I’m gagged.” Another commenter, posting a link to the New York Magazine article, received responses such as “that’s crazy” and – regarding the photos in the story – “lolllll totally taken in that apartment too.”
Utilities are included in the monthly rent, while move-in fees include half of February’s rent plus the last month’s rent, which total $1,800. There are no deposits or brokerage fees required.
