Tattoo artist Kat Von D has put her Victorian Los Angeles mansion — which also happens to be the setting for the 2003 movie “Cheaper by the Dozen” — up for sale for a whopping $15 million.
While the 12,000+ square foot property looked cozy and family-friendly in the film adaptation, photos in the listing show Von D, 39, transformed the space into a horror movie set chic with a personal touch, TMZ first reported.
The lush landscaping greatly dampens any real nightmare vibe, but the blood-red outdoor pool and brickwork — not to mention the statues and a slew of peaked roofs — give even the marketing photos a drastic energy.
Interested buyers will have a lot more to work with than a vampire aesthetic, though: the three-story main house has 11 beds, eight full bathrooms, and is located in Los Angeles proper. It was built in 1896, which gave it many years to accumulate real ghosts in addition to spooky decor.

A separate shed on the property also includes two bedrooms and a bathroom above a garage. In total, the closed house has seven chimneys.
“The traditional floor plan offers a large living room that seamlessly extends to the library/den and the formal parlor/living room”, the noted listadding that the dining room is lined with paneling and leaded stained glass.
The gardens and swimming pool are accessible by numerous exits, as well as a secret door hidden inside a bar.

On the top floor, there is another living space which doubles as a theater with a stage with the original limelight, complete with a bar, kitchenette and a “turret side drama room”.
The modern multi-zone HVAC system has been “carefully installed” so as not to disturb the original wood and plaster.
