WASHINGTON – The House committee reviewing the Jan.6 Capitol attack on Tuesday issued 10 new subpoenas for former senior White House officials to President Donald J. Trump, including his senior advisor Stephen Miller, as his investigation continues to expand.

The latest batch of requests for testimony and documents focus on White House officials with knowledge of Mr. Trump’s actions in the build-up and during the violence that engulfed the Capitol, when a crowd of his supporters took over stormed the building on January 6, and his aides who helped the former president support the lie that the 2020 election was stolen from him.

The new requests are part of an acceleration in the committee’s work, which in the past two days alone has nearly doubled the number of subpoenas it has issued, bringing the total to 35.

And the panel demanded documents and testimony from Johnny McEntee, a former White House chief of staff, who was reportedly present in the Oval Office during a meeting with Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence when Rudolph W. Giuliani , the former president’s personal lawyer, suggested seizing the Dominion’s voting machines due to voter fraud.

Keith Kellogg, Mr. Pence’s national security adviser, and Kayleigh McEnany, the former White House press secretary who was allegedly occasionally with Mr. Trump as he watched the attack, also received quotes from appear.

The orders came a day after the committee issued subpoenas for six Trump allies, including former national security adviser Michael T. Flynn and as it focused on an orchestrated effort by Mr. Trump and his associates to overthrow the 2020 elections.

One of those summoned on Monday was John eastman, a lawyer who wrote a memo explaining how Mr. Trump might use the vice president and Congress to try to invalidate the election results.
