Talk about working from home!

Mark Davis, owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, custom builds a Nevada mega-mansion that mimics the angular lines defining the training center, headquarters and Allegiant Stadium.

It has a penthouse, deck, and garage the size of most mansions, according to floor plans.

“It’s a really distinct and exciting design. It’s an amazing example of how the team can work with a client with a particular style and taste ”, Blue Heron architecture firm founder Tyler Jones told the Post. Jones declined to comment on details of the home’s layout.

Marc davis, 66, inherited the NFL team in 2011 from his father Al Davis. He bought the 6.32-acre land outside of Law Vegas in Ascaya, a private luxury community, in August 2020 for $ 6 million, according to the records. The Raiders did not respond to The Post’s request for comment.

Davis’s new 15,046-square-foot mega-mansion will be a three-level, five-bedroom, ten-bathroom worth $ 14 million, according to the city’s permit files obtained by The Post.

The most notable feature of the house’s exterior is a large swimming pool with three islands – two island bridges accessed via bridges and a third pentagon-shaped seating area that juts into the water. The middle island has a built-in television, a fire and several jumping fountains, depending on the permit request.

Behind the pool is a patio with two covered seating areas. There are two other patios hidden behind the front arms of the building, according to the plans.

In front of the pool is a lower terrace with a Jacuzzi, fireplace, built-in seating and around 18 fountains lining the pool in a shallow pond, the rendering is visible.

The tags make these permit application designs messy, but notice the porte-cochere jutting out through the mega-mansion's three-level slanted design.

Split first floor

But what the render doesn’t show is the unprecedented floor plan layout of the interior.

“Through the renderings, you really get a feel for its uniqueness and its personalization,” Jones told The Post.

Enter through the hall to discover a great room, a hammam, a bar, two kitchens, a pantry and two master suites, which the floor plans show.

Behind the Great Hall is a porte-cochere – a covered driveway, like in a hotel – accessed by a circular driveway that wraps around the back half of the house and pierces the side of the building, as shown in the floor plans.

Behind the covered driveway is a 1,342 square foot men’s cave surrounded by a garage the size of most mansions – 5,422 square feet. At either end of the garage are two one bedroom and one bathroom guest casitas with porches and private entrances, floor plans show.

The second floor with a bridge is mainly outside

Take an elevator or go up a spiral staircase to the open-air second floor with an enclosed library that overlooks the great room on the first floor. Outside is the 303 square foot terrace, which is visible in the rendering of the front of the house.

From the outside on the second floor, an office and dining room are self-contained mini-buildings with floor-to-ceiling windows, the floor plans show.

A bridge extends from the deck over the porte-cochère to a mysterious unlabeled area. The man cave below takes a peek at the far end of the bridge area. The second floor ends before covering the huge garage, as shown on the floor plans.

Penthouse suite on the top floor

The top floor penthouse suite is stacked only on the front side of the building. The large bedroom has a fireplace and two full bathrooms, as shown on the floor plan.

In a rarely seen design, the penthouse suite is almost twice the size of the bookcase it sits on top of the desk, and the dining area below does not provide support for the heavy structure at the top.

“This house is going to be an iconic design that will stand the test of time, and I’m really excited and proud to be a part of it,” Jones told The Post. “It’s really special.”
