Bzzz bzzz… Bee-yoncé breeds bees.

Beyoncé’s fans have long identified themselves as “the Beyhive”, but the legendary singer now has her own beehives at home, she told Harper’s Bazaar for its September issue.

“Now I am building a hemp and honey farm. I even have beehives on my roof! she said.

She did not specify what properties her bees live on – Miami? beautiful air? New Orleans? – corn most recently she was staying in the Hamptons with her husband Jay-Z and their children, Blue Ivy, Rumi and Sir, in their $ 26 million mansion.

“During my forties, I went from bingeing to creating positive rituals drawing inspiration from past generations and giving my own twist… I’m so happy that my daughters have the example of these rituals from me”, she told the magazine.

A representative did not return a request for confirmation regarding the location of the hives. Beyonce also traveled to Miami over the past few months.

“I have found healing properties in honey that are beneficial for me and my children,” Beyoncé said.

Queen Bey’s story with bees

Beyoncé didn’t always like bees. As a child, she and two other girls discovered bees in a bush that made them scream, a personal video used in her recent advertising campaign with Adidas shows.

“Leave those bees alone!” »A man, presumably Beyoncé’s father, we can hear in the video as a young Knowles screams on her porch.

Beyoncé’s newfound interest in raising bees comes from the healing properties of honey, she said. Honey has been proven to have antibacterial properties, according to studies.

If the swarm is housed on the roof of its Hamptons home, it is unclear exactly where it would roost on the largely sloping roof.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z bought the closed and guarded house of the Hamptons on Georgica Pond in 2017. The main house is 12,000 square feet and has seven bedrooms. The 2-acre estate also has an 1,800-square-foot guesthouse, Page Six reported.

The house is near a private airport, who has space also dedicated to beekeeping amid threats, celebrity favorite transportation hub could close.

Beekeeping has become increasingly popular in recent years. Martha stewart is a celebrity fan of the hobby, and The Long Islanders jumped on the trend.

Beekeepers’ hives have arisen Brooklyn skyline, on the Bank of America Tower, on the flagship Brooks Brothers and in the homes of veterans even if not everyone is happy with it.

On TikTok, the beekeeping methodology has sparked controversy, The Post previously reported.

She also grows hemp

Beyoncé also grows hemp, she said in the interview.

“I discovered CBD on my last tour and experienced its pain and inflammation benefits. It helped me with my restless nights and the restlessness that comes with not being able to fall asleep, ”she said.

Jay Z is the brand chief strategist at California marijuana dispensary Caliva, and Beyoncé’s father, Mathew Knowles, is a medical marijuana user who works in the marijuana farmland sector, he says Page Six.
