’There will be a meeting of the voters of both towns, Phillipston and Templeton, to discuss and vote on the Narragansett Regional School District (NRSD) funding numbers Saturday Sept. 19 at the NRSD Game Field behind the Middle School on Baldwinville Road in Templeton.

So far, Phillipston has voted an even $1 million twice because: 1) Narragansett Regional School District emptied and idled Phillipston Memorial School; 2) Narragansett Regional School District has failed to keep Phillipston updated to its actions since 2019; 3) they moved the fifth grade from Templeton Elementary School to the Middle School, in complete violation of the Phillipston-Templeton Regional Agreement, as well as destroying the innocence of the new fifth-graders by putting them in with the eighth-graders; 4) by doing remote learning their expenses have significantly been reduced; 5) the School Committee has hired the Mass. Assoc. of Regional Schools, with our tax dollars, to lobby for changes to the regional agreement that neither Phillipston nor Templeton initiated (this is our tax money not spent on the kids, but on adult lobbyists and their fees & expenses); 6) Narragansett Regional School District s top-heavy with administrators while cutting teachers and staff illegally per union rules.

A lot of their spending is on adults and not the children. We are asking everyone able in Phillipston and Templeton to please make the effort to listen to the options and voice your opinions and vote. Thank you.
