The Recorder - Life is good, world isn’t

I know that this letter that I have written indicates that I am an outsider, but here goes. There are a lot of things that I find quite upsetting nowadays. As a result, I feel like I have lost faith in society. I find myself comparing it to inside The Phantom Tollbooth, because everyone is so divided and insane.

Everyone seems to be bowing down to certain groups. No one seems to care about good clean morals. Everyone is too afraid of some virus.

Everyone seems to care too much about the environment, which I think can take care of itself.

And, everyone is too open about their views, which I would rather not know about, as it causes tension, anger, and more division among many, including myself. Practically all politicians are corrupt regardless of party affiliation, and political correctness is more rampant than ever.

Life is good. The world isn’t.
