Dead to Me season 2: COVID relief supported by charity Q&A | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

The next season is set to pick up right where the first instalment left off, with Jen Harding (Applegate) and Judy struggling to decide what to do with Steve’s corpse as it floats in Jen’s swimming pool.

The cast of Netflix’s sensational new thriller connected via a Zoom call ahead of season two’s premiere to perform a live table read of Dead to Me’s pilot episode.

As well as taking the time to promote the second season with a live Q&A, the Facebook event raised money for the nonprofit World Central Kitchen, which is providing food relief during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Celebrity chef at the head of the organisation, José Andrés, confirmed WCK had so far delivered over 6 million food packages since the coronavirus outbreak.
