Vice President Mike Pence’s press secretary, Katie Miller, tested positive for coronavirus on Friday, President Donald Trump said, delaying the Pence’s departure for a trip to Iowa. She is the second person working at the executive residence to test positive for the virus this week.

The U.S. unemployment rate hit 14.7% Friday, the highest level since the Great Depression as the pandemic thew more 20 million people out of work in a matter of weeks. Only 51.3% of the population is employed, and the number of nonfarm jobs lost in a single month is the largest on record
