Boston’s Seaport Hotel will close Saturday due the coronavirus pandemic, the hotel posted on its website.

“As of today, there are no known cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) within the hotel or among our guests or team members,” hotel officials said in a statement. “We want to do our part in helping to potentially minimize the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).”

The closure includes the hotel’s TAMO Bistro + Bar, Aura restaurant, Wave Health & Fitness, and the Seaport Café. The Seaport Garage will remain open.

The Boston Business Journal reported that Fidelity will continue to provide health insurance and other benefits for the 400 furloughed Seaport Hotel and Seaport World Trade Center workers, who will return to their jobs after the month-long closure. But later a hotel spokesperson told Boston.com that furloughed employees will be paid “the entire time they are out.”

The hotel will reopen April 22.

Other Massachusetts hotels that have closured during the pandemic include Marriott Boston Long Wharf, Encore Boston Harbor in Everett, and Great Wolf Lodge in Fitchburg.
