How many episodes are in The Terror: Infamy?

The Terror season two will have 10 episodes, the titles of which have not been announced yet.

What we do know, however, is that the new series will tell a different story than the first, which recounted the terrifying tale of the HMS Terror.

The BT TV synopsis for The Terror: Infamy reads: “Set during World War II, Infamy is the haunting and suspenseful second season of the horror-infused anthology.

“The Terror: Infamy centres on a series of bizarre deaths that haunt a Japanese-American community and a young man’s journey to understand and combat the malevolent entity responsible.”

As with the first season of The Terror, each episode will be an hour long.

The series has been critically acclaimed and currently holds a 90 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Variety said of the new series: “Alexander Woo and Max Borenstein’s new iteration of the Terror series, both thanks to its subject matter and supernatural apparitions lurking at the edges, is permeated by an ever-creeping sense of dread that proves undeniable.”

In a negative review, however, CBR said: “It has potential as a historical drama, illustrating a shameful period in American history with disturbing modern implications. It’s too bad that annoying demon keeps getting in the way.”

The Terror: Infamy starts tonight on AMC in the US and on October 7 on AMC in the UK
