The pictures are said to have been submitted by Amber Heard, 32, in response to Johnny Depp’s defamation lawsuit filed against her. The photos, obtained by the MailOnline, show the closet in their $3 million penthouse apartment with broken clothing racks strewn across the floor along with clothes and accessories. Depp, 55, is alleged to have caused the damage. Heard’s lawyers also reportedly submitted messages between an employee of the former couple at the time and a building worker which are said to have contained the images. According to the publication, the first said: “Good morning sir... So ... Um ... Johnny destroyed Amber's closet. And there's some other damage to PH5.

“You're the person I should talk to about that, correct?”

The building worker then reportedly responded: “I guess so… I’m up.”

“Insanity. Just f***ing insanity,” Depp and Heard’s employee replied.

The incident is said to have occurred on March 23, 2015, one month after the pair married.

The documents were reportedly submitted as part of a lawsuit filed by Depp against Heard following an article she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018.

Although the op-ed did not name her ex-husband, she spoke about their split, saying: “I spoke up against sexual violence - and faced out culture’s wrath.”

Heard is asking a judge to dismiss the suit, in which Depp and his lawyers claim she caused further damage to his career after previously accusing him of abuse when she filed for divorce in 2016.

In a statement yesterday, her lawyer Eric George told the Daily Mail: “Johnny Depp physically and verbally abused Amber Heard.

“Since their divorce, Mr Depp has continued to publicly harass Ms Heard, and attempted to gaslight the world by denying is abuse.

“It is long past time for Mr Depp’s despicable conduct to end. Today we, presented to the court irrefutable evidence of Mr Depp’s abuse,” he continued.

“It is regrettable that it will take a judge to finally end the persistent harassment of Ms Heard by Mr Depp. but Ms Heard will take whatever action is necessary to vindicate the truth.”

Depp’s lawsuit, according to Page Six, claims Heard’s allegations are a “hoax”.

The publication obtained documents filed by Heard in which she alleges he abused her, recounting alleged separate instances where he slapped, head-butted and threw objects at her.

On one occasion, she alleges he “picked another fight” with her, before she left, “hoping to avoid the violence”.

“Johnny followed me, hit me in the back of my head, grabbed me by the hair again, got me got in front of me on the steps, and then dragged me by my hair up the last few steps,” she said in the court filing.

“At the top of stairs, Johnny shoved me twice, which made me fear I would fall. I told Johnny that he had broken my wrist in an attempt to get him to stop.

“Johnny kept hitting me, and each time he knocked me down, I chose to react by simply standing up and looking him in the eye. Johnny responded by yelling, ‘Oh, you think you’re a f – – king tough guy?’

“He reeled back and head-butted me in my face, bashing my nose, which immediately began bleeding, sending searing pain through my face.”

A statement obtained from Depp’s lawyers yesterday by the publication said her op-ed’s “implication that Mr Depp is a domestic abuser is categorically and demonstrably false”.

The publication also reported the attorney’s said her allegations cost him his role as Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

A representative for Depp told Page Six: “A hoax confronted with evidence requires new lies to sustain install. Despite today’s claim ‘that was the only time I ever hit Johnny’ to concoct an excuse for our recent release of time-stamped shots of what she did to Johnny Depp’s face after he was late to her birthday party, in fact, Ms Heard grudgingly admitted in her sworn deposition to multiple instances of violence against Mr Depp.

“Which of Ms Heard’s under-oath admissions was the lie, the one she filed yesterday or the one she gave in August 2016?

“Ms Heard has a new problem besides defamation, perjury and filing and receiving a fraudulent temporary restraining order demand with the court: We are now interviewing other women who have come forward claiming they are victims of horrific acts of violence and other abuse at the hands of Amber Heard, in addition to Johnny Depp and Tasya van Rhee, the latter of whom Ms. Heard was previously arrested and incarcerated for assaulting.

“We have now issued subpoenas to Amber Heard, her hoax assisting friends, Elon Musk and other witnesses to explain the avalanche of video, audio, photographic and testimonial evidence with which we intend to confront them.”

Express.co.uk has contacted representatives for both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard asking for comment.
