What time does The Voice start tonight?

ITV will be airing The Voice UK tonight (Saturday, February 9) at 8pm and will be running until 9.30pm.

The Voice will be going up against The Greatest Dancer on the BBC with a 60-minute overlap between the two.

However, The Voice has been beating The Greatest Dancer consistently in the ratings when the two shows have been going up against each other.

Last week The Voice had an average audience of 4.9 million and ITV reported the series was the “most watched programme” of the evening.

The Voice peaked with 5.5 million viewers tuning in at one point and an audience share of 27 percent.

In comparison, The Greatest Dancer drew in an average audience of 3.3 million and an 18.1 percent share of the audience.

Following the final round of Blind Auditions, the judges will be halving their teams and putting their acts to the test in the Battle rounds.

Once the Battle phase has concluded, there will be the Knockout stage which will see the judges able to “steal” a contestant from one of the other coaches.

The final round will be the live shows which will see the remaining contestants hoping to win over the public with their vocal talents.

Whoever wins The Voice UK will be given a recording deal with label Universal Music and launch a music career.

The Voice UK 2018 winner was singer Ruti Olajugbagbe, who was mentored by Sir Tom and marked his second victory.

According to the bookmakers, Olly Murs is currently the favourite judge to win the competition with bet365 giving him a 2/1 chance.

Jennifer is in second place with chances of 9/4 from William Hill, while Sir Tom has odds of 3/1 from Marathon Bet.

Last week proved to be an exciting watch and saw both Olly and will.i.am taking to the stage to perform a musical number for the studio audience.

The coaches also made some last-minute decisions as their teams started to fill up.

Olly was left particularly frustrated after he lost out on one contestant and asked Sir Tom to punch him.

Audiences can expect more drama from the coaches this week as they hope to pick some winning acts in the last Blind Auditions of this series.

So far through to the Battles round later this month are: Equip To Overcome (Team Tom), Eva Campbell (Team Olly), Khadija (Team Will), Nikki Ambers (Team Olly), Seth Oraeki (Team Will), and Moya (Team JHUD).

The Voice airs on ITV tonight at 8pm
