Channel 4 series SAS: Who Dares Wins came to a sensational end this evening (Sunday, February 10) as the remaining recruits were put through their paces one last time. There were three contestants left in the competition: Mark, Milo and Lou who had to face the final hurdle. Here’s everything you need to know about the finale of SAS: Who Dares Wins and who was crowned the winner of the show.

Who won SAS Who Dares Wins?

There are three winners on this year’s series of SAS: Who Dares Wins with Lou, Mark and Milo named as the recruits to pass the selection process.

Orthopaedic surgeon Lou has become the first woman to successfully be selected to join the military branch known as the Special Air Service.

This is the first year SAS: Who Dares Wins featured both male and female candidates, following the decision by the Ministry of Defence open the selection process to women in 2018.

Following her win, she said: "It really proves women are not second class. Women can be just as strong, if not stronger than men, both mentally and physically.

"I think all of us should be really proud of ourselves and I feel that this hopefully will resonate with people and with all women everywhere - that they will push the boundaries."

"If they want something, they just need to go and get it. They shouldn't let prejudice stop them.”

She added: "What I hope I'm showing is that if you want something, you just have to go and get it. It shouldn't matter if you are male or female. You shouldn't let it stop you."

Chief instructor Ant Middleton hailed Lou, who remained neutral following the news she had passed the selection process and earned a place on the SAS.

He told Lou: "The privilege is all ours to have such people as you on the course.

"You have reinstalled my faith in allowing women into the military, especially on the front line because if they are all like you we can certainly get the job done."

The final episode of SAS: Who Dares Wins saw the remaining candidates facing a brutal 18-hour interrogation in sub-zero temperatures as part of the last leg.

All of them were awoken first for an early morning run during which they were abducted and questioned by a specialist team.

As part of the ordeal, they were forced to wear hoods, beaten and stand in stress positions while having to endure the endless sounds of screaming, pigs being slaughtered and crying babies.

After six hours of the interrogation, three of the contestants gave up with Vicki telling Ant: "I can't do any more, I just want to go home."

The remaining five candidates were then grilled over their cover story which saw them saying they were a search party sent to find a group of British hikers.

By the end of the 18-hour interrogation, Ant and his team had to decide who had passed the process.

Sadly, two recruits did not hit the mark as the three winners were revealed.
