SAS Who Dares Wins 2019 Ant Middleton screams at cast recruits on Channel 4 show - video | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

SAS: Who Dares Wins sees the toughest men and women in the country attempt to prove they’re strong enough for the special force.

This evening’s episode was a particularly brutal one and saw a couple voluntarily withdraw from the contest and others get forcibly removed.

Before all of that, the recruits had to first climb a huge rock face, before descending it again.

They had to essentially walk straight down the wall while attached to a harness.

Student Saranya, 19, has initially struggled with some of the tasks, but found this one rather enjoyable.

She giggled all the way down the rock face - much to the annoyance of the instructors.

As she reached the bottom, her fellow contestants were quick to join in on the joke and they all started cheering and congratulating each other.

However, disciplined Ant Middleton was having absolutely none of it and set about showing them once moe who is the boss.

He yelled: “Do not talk among yourselves.

“I want you to watch and listen.”

However, it seemed he needed to ensure the message had gone through completely and gave the recruits “a beasting”.

Standing in front of them, he told the line: “Laughing and joking?

“I want to see you f***ing work.”

Ant and the other instructors made the contestants run up and down a snowy incline in a variety of states.

They wanted to push them until someone quit, which is exactly what happened.

Yelling at Saranya, Ant said: “Move, 13. Not giggling and f***ing laughing now are you?”

Speaking to the camera at the end, Ant added: “Fighting wars is not a laughing matter.

“When you let an ounce of normal in, you’re going to find yourself dead or your pals dead.”

Elsewhere on the episode, Ant and the instructors made the recruits fight each other.

One of the male contestants fought one of the females and viewers were left feeling uncomfortable.

SAS: Who Dares Wins airs Sundays on Channel 4 at 9pm.
