Dancing On Ice is back for another season in ITV, and one of this year’s contestants is Loose Women panellist, Saira Khan, 48.

The presenter has been training hard and ensuring she can really strut her stuff on the ice.

However, the Loose Women panellist admitted to her colleagues on the show last Tuesday, that she’s starting to feel a little bit frisky after all the training.

She also revealed that she’s starting to understand why some contestants have failed victim to the ‘Dancing on Ice curse’.

Saira made her debut on Dancing On Ice last weekend with her professional dancing partner, Mark Hanretty.

After her first performance, Saira said: “It's helped me in many ways, it's made me feel a bit horny.”

“When you’re doing these intimate dances, with a man looking into your eyes, and you realise, the whole thing of dancing that makes you feel very sensual.

“You realise in everyday marriage it's the little things the holding of your hand, the touching of the waist, you miss those little things, and it's those things that make you feel a bit perky,” she finished.

She then joked that she’s been seeing a lot of her dancing partner, Mark.

“I’m seeing my dance partner more than I see my husband,” she said.

“If you go on to this show and have a few issues with your marriage, it would make you think about it.”

However, she also revealed that doing the show has made her realise how important those smaller gestures of intimacy are in a marriage.

Saira explained: “I have no problems with my marriage, but it made me think I need to do more things with my marriage like holding hands etc.”

The pair got married in 2004 and have since had two children together: Amara and Zac.

Gemma Collins also took the ice on last weekend’s show, and there was a mixed reception from viewers on her performance.

That said, Richard revealed he's slightly worried about her ice-skating ability.

Richard told Good Morning Britain hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway: ‘She can skate, yeah she can.”

“No Gemma’s very honest, I love Gemma like cooked food for that.

“She’ll scare a lot of people, Gemma will go out there and show you because she’s about that life.”

Dancing On Ice returns to ITV at 6pm on Sunday.
