star Brian, 38, has been revealed to have partially dislocated his shoulder and damaged his rotator cuff in rehearsals yesterday.

A spokesperson for ITV confirmed he could no longer rehearse and Brian's injury would be reassessed today.

It comes after his professional partner Alex Murphy revealed he had suffered a "bad fall" earlier in the week.

She explained Brian is “anxious” about their performance but she’s hoping he can overcome his nerves ahead of tomorrow night’s live show.

“We had a fall, it was pretty bad,” she revealed.

The 29-year-old added to The Sun: “He was really anxious after that but I told him not to worry and hopefully it’s out of his system.”

Brian had reassured his 343,000 followers on Twitter he was “brand new and ready to roll”.

Alex went on to note she has been very impressed with Brian’s dedication.

“He has come on drastically from when he first started and could hardly stand on the ice,” she said.

“He’s also lost weight from all the training, but he doesn’t think so because he still eats burgers.”

It comes after .

Earlier this week, Brian claimed he had an advantage over his fellow contestants due to his experience in Westlife.

“I’m not worried about blanking and forgetting the routines,” he dished.

“I’m pretty good at remembering routines because obviously in Westlife we had to learn dance routines and I’ve got to remember songs every night on stage so that part, the pressure of a crowd and stuff doesn’t bother me.

“The biggest fear is dropping my partner or falling over.”

But he admitted Dancing On Ice is his biggest challenge to date.

“When I go out on stage every night, I’m doing something that I’m very confident about,” Brian shared.

“I’m confident in my ability, I feel like I am good at what I do.

“Now, I’m going out into a massive crowd, live on television to something that I’m not very good at and I’m hoping to learn.”

Will Brian be able to impress both judges and viewers tomorrow night?

Dancing On Ice airs Sunday on ITV at 9pm.
