Strictly Come Dancing 2018: Latest betting odds on Danny John-Jules to exit | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Strictly Come Dancing’s Danny John-Jules has had a rather tough week this week.

There were reports that he and his pro dance partner, Amy Dowden had a slight disagreement earlier in the week after it emerged Danny was struggling to master the Samba routine.

However, it does look like they’ve put their differences aside and are now concentrating on performing to the best of their ability on tonight’s show.

That said, they are still one of Betway’s favourites to be voted off the show next.

The British actor's odds of being booted off Strictly Coming Dancing next are 5/1.

He had previously been put at 11/1, yet his disagreement with Amy has seemingly put the pair in the running to leave the competition.

However, BBC newsreader, Kate Silverton is the favourite to exit Strictly Come Dancing tomorrow evening.

Odds for Kate to be voted off next are at 7/4, and she’s closely followed by former England cricketer Graeme Swann and Charles Venn who are both 11/4.

“Danny John-Jules has been a consistent performer on Strictly this year but it’s hardly the ideal preparation to have had a bust-up with your dance partner, and he’s being backed for the boot,” said Betway’s Alan Alger

“We’ve seen plenty of support for the Red Dwarf actor in the next elimination market, and he’s now 5/1 from 11/1 to be the next to leave this year’s show.

“Kate Silverton heads the betting at 7/4, while last week’s bottom two survivors, Charles Venn, as well as Graeme Swann are both close behind on 11/4.”

It certainly seems as though this weekend’s show will be one of the tightest to call.

Danny and Amy will just have to ensure they let the dancing do the talking and get a big score from the judges.

A Strictly production source told “Danny and Amy have had a tough week trying to master their difficult Samba.

“They had a minor disagreement earlier this week but were quickly back into rehearsals that same day and had a good rehearsal yesterday.

“They’re excited to perform together tomorrow night.”

Kate, who’s the favourite to leave this weekend, recently revealed the awful injury she sustained during rehearsals before last week’s show.

"On the Friday, about 5 o'clock, Aljaž was picking me up in the rehearsals, and he did have to whisk me around quite a bit, and I felt this pop," she said on It Takes Two.

"Okay, that's not good! Then, like an hour later, [I was] sort of crawling along the corridor.

"So, basically, the muscle came off the rib.”

Strictly Come Dancing 2018 returns tonight at 7pm on BBC One.
