Tonight’s saw Danny and his professional dance partner Amy Dowden performed a Samba to Feels Like Home by Sigala, Fuse ODG, Sean Paul and Kent Jones.

The pair only scored 27 for the Latin routine and Danny was told to “chill out” by the judges over his performance.

Bruno Tonioli told Danny: “You went for it like the Dominican express. But you have to be really careful.

“You can’t be too sharp and staccato. What you do with your partner is you push her and you lose that soft bounce.

“Always, always, guiding and gliding through the dance. If you push and push, the poor girl doesn’t know where she is going.”

Fellow judge Craig Revel Horwood added: “I thought it was very spiky and stiff and that was what Bruno was on about.

“It’s too tough. There’s too much energy. And I never say that to dancers.”

“You need to chill out just a little bit darling.”

He went on to note he needed to “calm down”.

Danny is the favourite celebrity to be eliminated from the competition this evening.

Bookmakers Betway revealed his odds of being voted off are at 5/1.

A spokesman for the bookies told Express.co.uk: “Danny John-Jules has been a consistent performer on Strictly this year but it’s hardly the ideal preparation to have had a bust-up with your dance partner, and he’s being backed for the boot.

“We’ve seen plenty of support for the Red Dwarf actor in the next elimination market, and he’s now 5/1 from 11/1 to be the next to leave this year’s show.

“Kate Silverton heads the betting at 7/4, while last week’s bottom two survivors, Charles Venn, as well as Graeme Swann are both close behind on 11/4.”

It comes after it was reported the pair had fallen out in rehearsals last week.

However, appearing on It Takes Two on Friday evening, .

She told presenter Gethin Jones: “Things did get a little intense the other day in rehearsals.

“Wednesday, this was?” Gethin asked.

“I really want to get this man to Blackpool and then to the final.”
