Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers Tyrion Lannister Peter Dinklage gives finale warning | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Game of Thrones will air next year on HBO and fans can barely wait for the highly-anticipated episodes.

Now, Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister, has dropped a tantalising tear on what’s to come in the near future.

The actor, 49, was recently out and about promoting his new movie, I Think We’re Alone Now, when he was quizzed about Game of Thrones.

Naturally, he remained tight-lipped about what’s to come, but it seems he did drop a big hint about an upcoming battle.

When asked if anything from season eight could top the iconic “Battle of the Bastards”, Peter seemed to think so.

“Oh my God, and then some,” he teased. “You are in for it. Truly.”

But with the contenders in the battle currently unknown, will Peter’s revelation shock fans?

Former star of Game of Thrones, Finn Jones, has teased what he believes will happen a the end of the HBO series.

It seems the Loras Tyrell star has a grim outlook on the season eight finale.

He recently told People Magazine: “I basically don’t think there will be a throne anymore, and I don’t think there will be a centralised seat of power.

“I think power will be given back to the individual kingdoms, so more like a democratic rule.

“But I think that is probably a bit to utopian for Game of Thrones.”

He went on to claim how he believes everyone will perish at the end.

This comes as a new theory has emerged suggesting Jon Snow will lose the Iron Throne to a shock character.

Viewers thought all of the Tyrell family were wiped out of Game of Thrones.

However, Allana Tyrell is alive and well and could be in for a shock return.

She is the cousin of Loras and Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer) and was last seen in season three.

Allana wasn’t present when Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) blew up the family.

However, if Finn is correct, Allana wouldn’t have a chance at the Throne.

Game of Thrones season 8 will return to HBO and Sky Atlantic in 2019. Seasons 1-7 are currently streaming on NOW TV.
