Emmerdale spoilers: Lachlan White to continue killing as Ross Barton exits? | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Category: Entertainment,Gossip

Lachlan White (played by Thomas Atkinson) continued his psychotic streak this evening on Emmerdale when he finally took down Terry (Daniel Casey).

He has now established that he will do anything to keep his life with Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) safe.

But with another murder under his belt, how long can his safety last?

However things quickly turn for Lachlan as he begins receiving anonymous texts.

Determined to find out who is tormenting him, Lachlan turns his attention to Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) and Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele).

The crazed killer then decides to set a gas leak for his new victims.

However he is caught red-handed by Rebecca White (Emily Head).

Does this mean Rebecca will be next on Lachlan’s hit list?

An Emmerdale spokesperson told Metro: “Lachlan is always just one step away from killing again.

“Since he took Gerry’s life he has shown just how far he will go.

“When a chain of events see his secrets threatened with exposure once more this summer, we could see him take more drastic action.

“But who is in danger and will he get away with it this time?”

Meanwhile, Ross Barton (Michael Parr) has an exit on the way later on this year.

Ross has been on a path of self destruction since his harrowing acid attack, but what will push him out of the village once and for all?

Emmerdale producer Kate Brooks gave nothing away when she spoke of his exit.

She said: “Michael Parr will leave Emmerdale later this year at the end of his current contract.

“His decision to pursue other acting opportunities has given the writing team the opportunity to create an intriguing storyline for his exit.”

But as he still has his son in his life, what could be so urgent that forces Ross to leave the village?

Could psychotic killer Lachlan have something to do with Ross’ surprise disappearance?

Emmerdale continues Monday at 7pm on ITV.
