Emmerdale spoilers: Lachlan White puzzle EXPLAINED as he kills again - whose blood was it? | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Viewers have been eagerly waiting for Lachlan (played by Thomas Atkinson) to get his comeuppance on Emmerdale for months now but it seems the storyline is only set to get more complicated.

Tonight on the ITV  soap the village teenager continued to stalk the con-man Fake Terry outside of a funeral home in the nearby town of Hotten.

Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) struggled with her boyfriend’s strange behaviour and she was started to get more and more frustrated with her lover and business partner.

But Lachlan had his eye firmly on his target following his and Fake Terry’s showdown in the B&B last month that resulted in the latter’s suspicious disappearance.

While some viewers were convinced Lachlan had already killed Terry and stolen back Doug Potts’ (Duncan Preston) stash of savings, tonight revealed the opposite.

Yet fans were left confused when Lachlan used all his stealth to race after the criminal, as what happened next was left to the imagination.

Lachlan later returned home to the Wishing Well Cottage with a decidedly more upbeat spring in his step, and spun a web of lies to Belle about where he’d been all this time.

The killer promised he’d had a secret plan all along to secure a warehouse for his and Belle’s brewery business Whingles.

“You know I’d do anything for you right?” He told her with a grin.

The pair hugged and Belle was none the wiser, but viewers had already spotted a suspicious blood-stain on Lachlan’s sleeve.

“Everything’s gonna be ok, we’ll have nothing to worry about anymore,” the sinister character added.

But did Lachlan actually kill Fake Terry?

It could be that the teenager simply gave him a warning, as fans also spied a bloody spanner in the background on the soap.

But knowing the mentally ill teenager’s history, it’s likely he wouldn’t be so happy if there was still unfinished business with his latest target.

Emmerdale continues tomorrow at 7pm on ITV.
