Coronation Street spoilers Kayla plans to KILL Craig amid Bethany Platt revenge plot | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Category: Entertainment,Gossip

Coronation Street just got a new villain on the screen in the form of teenager, Kayla (played by Mollie Winnard).

The teenager has been out for revenge since she landed on the cobbles.

It was revealed she has an infamous father in the form of Neil Clifton (Ben Cartwright) who was a part of Nathan Curtis’ (Chris Harper) grooming gang.

With Neil safely behind bars, it seemed fans could breathe a sigh of relief for Bethany (Lucy Fallon), safe in the knowledge that part of her ordeal was over.

Except it isn’t, as Kayla will do anything to get revenge for her father’s imprisonment.

Kayla is using Craig (Colson Smith) to get to the teenager, and in tonight’s double-parter, it seems she will stop at nothing to get what she wants.

She even put Craig’s life in danger today, by turning on the gas in his apartment.

Thankfully, the leak was caught before it was fatal and the flat was left in safety.

But it tipped poor Craig over the edge, following his OCD diagnosis.

Although everyone remained unscathed the evening, it seems things will get worse for Craig and Bethany at the hands of Kayla.

The Metro revealed how Coronation Street’s summer storylines will feature some shocking bombshells for the ITV soap favourites.

Neil will try to appeal his case, begging to be released from prison after insisting he did nothing wrong.

Thankfully, his appeal fails, but that just sets Kayla further down her path for revenge.

In the coming weeks, the publication reported how she will kidnap Bethany.

A terrifying hostage situation will emerge as Kayla tries to give the teenager a taste of her own medicine.

Elsewhere on Coronation Street, Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) felt her world crush around her.

She was conned by Duncan Radfield, who used his wife as a plot device to get the council’s money.

And Sally fell hook, line, and sinker for the lies, committing fraud to make sure he got what he wanted.

But will Sally lose her job over the crime?

Coronation Street continues next Monday on ITV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
