Strictly Come Dancing 2018: Zoe Ball stunned by Oti Mabuse's swipe at Graeme Swann | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

The events unfolded on Strictly Come Dancing’s BBC Two sister show It Takes Two.

The pair had received plenty of praise over the weekend for their Waltz and discussed their efforts with Zoe.

Zoe declared: “Craig [Revel Horwood] said it was the first time he felt that Graeme was leading the dance, Oti.”

“Yes, Graeme likes to lead. Not particularly well, but he likes to lead,” Oti jibed

“Ahh!” Zoe could be heard gasping.

Oti then went on to expand on what she meant by her comments.

She told Zoe: “You know what, I love that he wants to take on that role as the man of the partnership and this time I just let him.

“He did an amazing job at it and I think it shows he’s improving every single week and he’s getting better.”

“Very good, true!” Zoe replied.

While Graeme confessed: “I wondered where you were going with that, to be honest.”

The Waltz held a lot of sentimental value for Graeme and it showed in his stirring performance.

Before he took to the floor on Saturday, a VT saw Oti reveal how it “meant something special” to him because of his grandparents.

Graeme said: "I remember my gran and granddad dancing in the kitchen as a little boy and watching - beautiful dancers."

The duo went on to score 29 points which made it his second-highest score so far.

Head Judge Shirley Ballas said of the performance: "I think from last week to this week has been a huge growth. I was really impressed with your footwork. It made me all fuzzy. It was lovely.”

While Bruno Tonioli told him: "Last week was like a rhinoceros, this week was like a swan."

After the judges’ critiques were delivered, host Claudia Winkleman turned to Graeme to say: "When you took part in Strictly, you said you wanted to do the waltz and you wanted to do that song.

"How wonderful then to get comments like that."

An overwhelmed Graeme replied: "Honestly, I feel so emotional."

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday at 7pm on BBC One.
