The Haunting of Hill House season 2 Will there be another series? | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Category: Entertainment,Gossip

The Haunting of Hill House is a modern reimagining of Shirley Jackson’s novel of the same name and follows five siblings who grew up in “the most famous” haunted house in America.

Now adults, they’re reunited by the suicide of their youngest sister, which forces them to finally confront the ghosts of their own pasts throughout the 10-part Netflix series.

All of the siblings will explore the “ghosts in their minds”, along with ghosts lurking in the house.

Flashing between past and present, the fractured family will be seen to confront haunting memories of their old home and the terrifying events that drove them from it.

But will The Haunting of Hill House series fully conclude and give fans all of the answers they want?

Could the ending open up to potential further seasons for expectant fans to anticipate?

Actor Henry Thomas exclusively told Express.co.uk and other press: “Netflix is a great platform for this.

“Rather than compressing everything into an hour and a half where you have to sacrifice a lot of character development and good little bits. This is there for you if you choose to dig in.”

Theodora star Kate Siegel added: “Absolutely, I would run back to that family. I would hope that we would haunt somewhere,” as Henry teased: “More tropical!”

Kate gleamed: “Exactly! The Haunting of the Four Seasons Maui!”

Luke Crane actor Oliver Jackson-Cohen said: “It'll be interesting to see what Mike and Netflix and Paramount, what they all decide to do.

“There's millions of different options, they could continue on and have it a couple of years on and how the remaining Cranes are dealing with it.

“They could go back and tell the story of the Hills at Hill House, they could do an anthology.

“There's so many options that they can toy with here which I think makes it so exciting to be part of a show like this.”

Steven Crane star Michiel Huisman teased a possible future storyline for the show involving his character.

He said: “We could go back to the house and I'm the gatekeeper of the house, maybe. Or we could do more of an anthology. I like that, so put that in there.

“I have no idea, if we were ever to make a season two what that would look like. I'm up for anything.

“This could be more, for me. But that really depends on the audience; if it's going to be successful or not, if people like it.

“The cool thing about Netflix is we can very easily see if people watch it or not. And then we'll start a conversation about whether or not we'll make season two.”

The Haunting of Hill House is available on now.
