Emmerdale spoilers: Graham Foster turns on Joe Tate in huge betrayal on ITV soap | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Category: Entertainment,Gossip

Joe (played by Ned Porteous) quickly regretted his decision to send Connor (Cameron Jack) after his former legal guardian Graham (Andrew Scarborough) on Emmerdale.

Following tense scenes at Home Farm, Joe spotted a trail of blood but just as the horror dawned the millionaire businessman suddenly came face to face with a battered Graham alive and well.

Swiftly hiding his shock on the ITV soap, Joe proceeded to play a dangerous game with his employee, who already knew the truth.

But in a terrifying twist, the former military man showed a rare moment of pure rage as he completely lost his temper with Joe.

Realising he can’t convince Joe to ask his fiancee Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) to sign a prenuptial agreement, will Graham decide to remove him from the equation altogether?

Viewers already know the suit-clad character has been having secret conversations with Kim Tate (Claire King), who is set to return to the ITV soap in explosive scenes next week.

Kim left the village with all manner of hatred for the Tate family, so could she have brainwashed Graham to turn against Joe?

In order to get Home Farm back, Kim would need to find a way to get Joe out first.

As the interrogation turned nasty, Graham ended up yelling: “Stop lying to me, just stop. You don’t get to lie yourself out of this one.”

“It was me or you,” Joe finally admitted, before insisting: “I’m serious, that’s what he said. He was gonna kill me, or you. What was I supposed to do?”

Graham reminded his boss he could have come to him with the information, leaving Joe exasperated.

Annoyed Graham had seemed to forget how strained their relationship was, Joe spat: “What to the other man who’s throwing ultimatums around, the man who already put a noose around my neck?”

“You put it there yourself,” Graham said coldly.

“I tried to stop him,” Joe continued, begging his friend to understand. “By the time I realised what I’d done I called him, I left a message. I am so sorry. You have no idea how sorry I am.”

In Graham’s final words, fans could see he was holding back yet more secrets, but will it be as sinister as they could imagine?

“What now?” Joe asked, as Graham told him to return to the hospital to see Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill).

“I mean between you and me, can we just go back to the way things were?” the sad businessman asked, as Graham simply told him “what’s done is done”.

Does he really mean it though? It seems there’s much more heartbreak to come in Joe Tate’s life.

Emmerdale continues tomorrow at 7pm on ITV.
