ITV This Morning Phillip Schofield makes Strictly Come Dancing Vick Hope cringe over curse | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Strictly Come Dancing stars Vick Hope and Graziano Di Prima spoke about their journey on the BBC show.

They didn’t quite manage to impress all the judges, with the likes of Craig Revel Horwood slamming the performance for being too focused on the professional.

However, all eyes are on whether the pair could hook up romantically, given their chemistry on the show.

But they have consistently denied any ideas of the Strictly “curse” coming into play, given that Graziano has a girlfriend who works on Strictly Come Dancing.

However, that didn’t stop Phillip Schofield interviewing the pair and asking the awkward romance question on This Morning.

Vick, 29, admitted: “We get on really well… He’s got a girlfriend!”

Graziano confessed it’s good his girlfriend, Giada Lini, works at Strictly Come Dancing so she can see what’s going on.

But Phillip couldn’t help himself, adding: “Girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands and wives have never held back what happens on that show…”

The so-called Strictly “curse” refers to relationships that have come to an end after the series has finished.

Vick defended: “I’ve never spent so much time with one person, we’re touching all the time, we sweat together all the time - sorry in advance.”

The Capital DJ reasoned how Strictly Come Dancing is appealing because of the romantic element, but nothing is actually happening with Graziano and the stunner.

Vick broke up with her ex-boyfriend, Tom Rosenthal, before she was announced for Strictly Come Dancing, but insisted the two events were not related.

Speaking about joining the gruelling BBC challenge, the beauty told Radio Times: “I haven’t been on a platform like this before and all of the attention has been a bit of a shock to the system.

“Like having the press write about my ex-boyfriend as though I dumped him.

“We broke up a year ago and it had nothing to do with Strictly.”

Vick added: “I’ve just got to try my hardest, be myself and dance my little heart out.”

She also went on to reveal a secret which may hinder her progress in the competition.

The stunner admitted she had a “confession” to make on Strictly’s official Twitter account earlier in the year.

“I’ve got quite stiff fingers,” she said, adding that she had damaged one digit when she was younger.

“I chopped one of them off when I was little, by accident,” she said.

Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday on BBC One at 6.15pm.
