Following the weather report presented by forecaster Matt Taylor, 42, business reporter Ben Thompson joined the main presenters on the sofa.

Naga, 43, and Jon Kay, 49, seemed shocked to see the presenter sat next to them.

It was revealed that Ben was supposed to delver his report from the position Matt was stood in to present the weather.

Coming between the two as they jokingly disputed the situation, Naga joined in and told Matt to leave the studio floor.

Making the transition from weather to business, Naga exclaimed as she saw Matt: “You’ve appeared put of nowhere.”

Ben responded jokingly, saying: “Well as if by magic,” as the camera caught him sat next to the the main presenters.

Poking fun at the weatherman following his report, Ben said: “Well Matt’s pinched my spot, so I’ve got to do the business down here.”

“Oh you see what you’ve done?” Naga told Matt as she teased Matt about his supposed error.

“He’s really upset about that,” she continued although it was clear Ben was sat next to her laughing.

Matt then apologised for his mistake before joining in on the joke, he said: “I’m sorry, I’ll just scuttle off .”

Naga then hit back at the weather presenter, urgently joking him to get off the studio floor.

“Just go. Go seriously. You don’t want to see Ben when he’s angry,” she joked.

As his three fellow co-stars continued to joke around, Jon proceeded to introducing Ben’s segment.

“We’re talking business. Ben’s here to talk about evictions this morning.” he stated.

However, the three presenters on the sofa burst into hysterics as they realised the implication of what Jon had just said, realising Ben had been evicted from his reporting spot.

This isn’t the first time Naga has been joking around on the Breakfast sofa this week.

earlier in the week when he made a joke about her age.

Talking about 50-year-old Kylie Minogue’s concert in Hyde Park last weekend, Naga and Jon reminisced about the years when Kylie was hitting the charts with Jason Donavan, 50.

Sean said: “It’s lovely,” that the two were talking about the good old days, with Naga replying: “Bit snooty hey, bit snooty.”

The business reporter then proceeded to tell his presenters he was pleased to see them enjoying themselves: “Glad you guys enjoyed it anyway.”

Returning to the sofa, Naga then continued to talk about the news but hit back at her co-host when she realised what he was implying.

She said: “Look, you’ve been talking about older workers.. cheeky,” after which she laughed the remark off.
