EastEnders spoilers: Rainie Cross finally forced to admit her feelings to Max Branning | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Category: Entertainment,Gossip

In an upcoming episode of EastEnders, Rainie (played by Tanya Franks) will finally admit something to Max (Jake Wood) which would turn the marriage on its head.

Although the marriage started out as a sham, it’s clear Rainie has developed feelings for her former brother-in-law.

In the coming weeks of the BBC soap, viewers will see Rainie try to win Max round, but he isn’t having any of it.

Rainie is sure Max feels the same way and continues to flirt outrageously with him.

However, poor Rainie is crushed when she discovers Max has been using a dating site for “no strings attached” fun.

But Rainie soon bounces back to her old ways and decides to message one of the women on the app in an act of revenge.

An eager Max gets dressed up for his date for the new woman in his life but naturally Rainie doesn’t intend for it to go smoothly.

She tries to stop him from going but she ends up shooting herself in the foot.

And Max isn’t very happy when he discovers what she’s been up to.

Put in a difficult situation, it gets too much for Rainie who suddenly admits that she has romantic feelings for Max.

Max is left reeling in the aftermath of the confession but Rainie is soon busy with something else.

She spies Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite) and Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) having a row as Mel posts some of Jack’s belongings through the door.

It looks like it could be over between the pair of them but Rainie steps in to offer some sage relationship advice to Jack.

Max is later seen mulling things over in the Queen Vic when Jessica Jones (Tara Lee) comes along to lend him an ear.

Will Max be tempted by young Jessica? Or will he reciprocate Rainie’s feelings?

Viewers will just have to wait and see if love blossoms between the unlikely duo.

If they were to actually get together and validate their relationship, they could be in with a better chance of gaining custody of baby Abi.

The pair have struggled in meetings with social services as its clear they both really want to look after the infant.

But with Cora Cross (Ann Mitchell) still trying to look after her great-granddaughter, it’s unclear what the future holds for the tot.

EastEnders continues tomorrow at 8pm on BBC One.
